Hello hello! I got a few things these past few months and I’ve been pretty excited to make a post about them, but laziness has slowly taken over my body, so I’m only writing about them now. They’re actually nothing that extravagant, but they eternally make my heart feel happy and make me dance in bliss, as weird as that sounds.
First off, I got more rings—as expected from me, eh? I think I”ve said this a couple of times before, but downtown Iloilo is heaven if you love accessories, and the best thing about them? Very Cheap! You can get simple rings at around Php15-Php40 and necklaces around Php40-Php200, and they come in really pretty and cute designs! I can’t help but stop by a few shops every time I’m there to look for pretty and unique things…. but most of the time, I end up buying rings (but if you know me, you’ll know I almost never wear accessories on a normal day, but I love collecting them and using them for shoots, heehee).
And next acquisition? Hehe, you’ve already gotten a peek! Dun dun dun
It’s Tricia Gosingtian’s Stylebook! To be very honest, ever since the release date, I’ve been going back and forth to all the National Bookstore branches in the city, but I’ve never chanced upon it until today! And guess what? It was the last in stock! Talk about perfect timing!
I initially planned on buying it just for the pictures, because I’m a fan of Tricia G’s photography, and I almost religiously follow her blog, but it’s proven a great help style-wise too, despite the conservative style I’ve been taught to follow as a Christian girl! I’m especially in love with all the dresses and skirts i saw (since I’m just that—a dress/skirt girl!) and I instant fell in love with the brightly-colored outfits and most especially the floral clothes (In case you don’t know, my closet is mostly monotone, with a bit of pastel and blue!).
Anyway, all I can say is it was definitely worth every penny—and I’m not just saying this because I’m a fan—it was really helpful especially to me who needs proper help in dressing up. And I’ll also confess that even though my current amount of money won’t suffice for our upcoming reunion with my elementary classmates, (and not to mention that I have yet to buy Christmas gifts for my best friends, hoho) I can absolutely say I have no regrets in buying this hehe. Anyway, to end this very long post, I’ll leave you with more photos of what it looks inside, hehe!
Japaaaaaaaaaaaaan (hoho imagine my feels when I found out she also watched Psycho-Pass and Shingeki no Kyojin! (that was not mentioned in the book of course)).
and Photography <3 She was one of the people who actually inspired me to try doing photography, along with Aleyn Comprendio, and Toto Villaruel. And a little more that 3 years later, I still have no regrets. <3
